ACTIVITIES

Academy students are able to avail themselves of a wide variety of extracurricular activities designed to foster leadership, peak interest, and develop self-confidence. They expand their talents and capabilities through participation in interesting and stimulating activities such as Student Council, Peer Tutoring, Newspaper, Literary Magazine, Yearbook, Forensics, Mock Trial, Science Club, Language Clubs, Math Club, Service Club, and Swimming club, as well as a multitude of state or national writing and composition competitions during the course of the year. A singular distinction at the Academy is our foreign travel program. For almost thirty years our girls have traveled for two weeks at Easter to virtually every major city in Europe.
