FACULTY

The cornerstone of any educational institution is its faculty. At the Academy, we are blessed with a diverse group of professional educators, each of whom hold degrees in the disciplines they teach. These are men and women who are committed to excellence for their students; they approach learning with a spirit of enthusiasm and intellectual curiosity and they impart these characteristics to the students they serve. Critical thinking and creativity are developed and our students are encouraged to seek truth always and to reject bias and prejudice. We seek to affirm the religious, cultural, and ethnic heritage of students and faculty; we know diversity is an asset and welcome the richness it brings to our character. With a student/teacher ratio of 9:1 and small class sizes, our faculty develops a special rapport with each of our students and is able to individualize instruction when necessary. They are wonderful role models, acting as mentors, coaches, and counselors, often extending relationships with students well into their adult lives.
