Summer at the Academy

The Academy offers a five week summer term beginning June 20 and ending July 22. We offer a variety of programs designed to provide meaningful and enjoyable experiences to students from grades 8 to 12.

Online Enrichment Courses

Online courses provide a flexible environment that encourages the fun aspects of learning while accommodating summer schedules and travel. While high school credit is not given for this enrichment work, students who register for the summer term receive a Certificate of Achievement for each course completed.

Program Details
Online Enrichment courses run for four weeks, from June 20 to July 16. Beginning with an Online Enrichment Seminar on June 20. The seminar begins at 7:00 pm at the Academy. Our seminar offers the opportunity to begin using online resources in a friendly, supportive environment. It is also a wonderful way to meet other registered students and Academy faculty.

Every enrichment course is facilitated by a faculty member of the Academy of Saint Elizabeth.

Summer Science Labs

Summer Science Labs at the Academy of Saint Elizabeth are designed to give students at multiple academic levels hands‐on experience with state of the art lab equipment and concepts in a fun and challenging atmosphere.

Summer Science Labs run in three sessions during the summer term:

Introduction to High School Chemistry (Grades 9+) - June 20 to June 24
CSI Forensics Week (Grades 6, 7 & 8) - June 27 to July 1
Investigative Science Week (Grades 6, 7 & 8) - July 11 to July 15

The Academy offers summer science labs at multiple academic levels to motivate a love of science in both middle school and high schoolaged students. Full descriptions for specific labs are provided in our summer brochure.

Performing Arts Workshop

KT Productions' Theater Camp encourages students to develop confidence, self‐discipline, creativity and a love for performing. The KT staff is dedicated to making the theater camp experience educational and fun.

Program Details
This performance-based workshop is conducted from June 27 to July 21 and includes interactive lectures and hands-on experience. Every class is facilitated by KT Productions staff members who are theater professionals dedicated to making the experiance educational and fun.

Classes meet on Monday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Monday classes cover each of the subjects listed below. Thursday classes are dedicated to rehearsing a theater production all students participate in.

KT Productions exposes students to a variety of performance techniques and skills such as:

The Academy’s Performing Arts Workshop culminates in a theater production staged by the students themselves. This performance is scheduled for July 21. Parents and family friends are encouraged to attend!

Sports Clinics

Academy Sports Clinics provide a camp atmosphere conducive to developing athletic skill, while encouraging fair play and sportsmanship. We want participants to gain self-confidence in a noncompetitive, fun environment emphasizing learning and improving skills. This camp is for both new and returning athletes!
